Biography
Posters. Born 1895 in Halle/Saale. 1919-24: studied at the Berlin Akademie. Designed posters for Deutsche Lufthansa in early 1930s. Sept. 1933: he and H.K. Frenzel the German judges for the prizes awarded at the Continental Advertising Congress, Rome/Milan. By 1935: living in Berlin. By 1936: chairman of the Bundes Deutscher Gebrauchsgraphiker (BDG), and of the Fachgruppe Gebrauchsgraphiker in the Reichskammer der bildenden Künste, Berlin.
