Karl Staudinger

Biography

Publicity, posters, illustration, books, jackets. Born Karl Joseph Staudinger 19 August 1905 in Nuremberg. 1931-4: trained at the Nuremberg Staatliche Akademie der bildenden Künste: a teacher was Max Körner. From 1936: lived in Stuttgart. Military service, followed by freelance work, particularly, illustration. Died 18 August 1983 in Glonn bei München.
