Biography
Born 1895 in Aachen, later studying drawing, lithography and lettering there at the Kunstgewerbeschule. From 1918: freelance, working on exhibitions and fairs. 1921-5: art director of the department store L. Tietz. 1925-8: worked for the cigarette manufacturer Halpaus. 1928-45: freelance in Berlin.
