Biography

Wood engravings, publicity, exlibris, illustrations. Born 19 November 1889 in Rees, Lower Rhine. Studied at the Berlin Akademie, and in Holland and Switzerland. Military service in WWI. Executed popular panoramas of German cities. 1933-45: taught at the Stuttgart Academy. Died 18 October 1945 in Stuttgart..
