Biography
Bookbindings, illustrations. Born 22 March 1887 in Nuremberg. Studied at the Städtische Kunstgewerbeschule West, Berlin-Charlottenburg, followed by studies in Nuremberg and Munich. Designer/writer/illustrator of children’s books; an example of her illustrated and lettered pages is Das Männlein in der Gans of 1925. Her children’s books were in a group exhibition at the Chicago World’s Fair, 1933; she also exhibited in Berlin. 1953: Art Prize, City of Berlin. Died 1 December 1968 in Berlin.
