Alfred Haller

Biography

Publicity. Born 18 May 1921 in Waldkirch, Baden. 1936-40: studied at the Allgemeine Gewerbeschule, Basle, Switzerland. 1940-41: studied at the Stuttgart Akademie. 1941-5: military service. From 1945: freelance; lived in Lörrach. Married to Gerta Haller. Exhibited his paintings in Freiburg, Düsseldorf. 1952: awarded first prize in Eisen und Stahl (iron and steel) industrial exhibition, Düsseldorf. 1957: awarded Grosse Preis der Deutschen Industrie. Died 1957 in Lörrach.
